A new, innovative, previously patented electrical generator system will be developed to power electricity consumers on diesel-electric trains. It is a disc rotor machine in which the entire side surfaces of the disc can be used, so its power density is significantly higher than conventional electric machines. This is especially true for the power supply of refrigerated containers. It can also be used to direct energy into train cars under certain conditions. The control system must ensure optimal energy management with the help of an artificial intelligence algorithm and read the route data itself using a GPS sensor, thus feeding both the batteries and the power consumers in line with the needs. Our project, which we aim to be completely suitable for railway use, is aimed to be able to be applied for road transportation later.
